A Heritage Reimagined
The Transalp name carries a legacy of adventure riding dating back to the 1980s, and Honda has infused the 2025 iteration with a modern edge. The motorcycle retains its iconic adventure DNA but now boasts contemporary engineering and technology to meet the demands of today’s riders.
“We wanted to create a bike that inspires freedom and confidence in every environment,” said Yoshinobu Matsuo, the lead designer of the XL750 Transalp. “This new model represents the perfect balance between performance, comfort, and adaptability.”
Engine and Performance
At the heart of the 2025 Transalp is Honda’s all-new 755cc parallel-twin engine, producing approximately 91 horsepower and 75 Nm of torque. With its 270-degree crankshaft, the engine delivers a smooth yet thrilling power curve, ideal for both highway cruising and off-road exploration. Paired with a 6-speed transmission and a slip-and-assist clutch, the bike ensures seamless gear shifts and reduces rider fatigue on long journeys.
For off-road enthusiasts, the Transalp includes a dedicated gravel riding mode that fine-tunes throttle response, ABS, and traction control for unpaved terrains. The long-travel Showa suspension and 21-inch front/18-inch rear wheel setup ensure the bike is ready for the roughest trails.
Cutting-Edge Technology
The 2025 XL750 Transalp is equipped with a 5-inch TFT color display that offers smartphone connectivity, navigation, and customizable ride settings. Riders can choose from five pre-set modes—Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User—allowing a tailored riding experience in any condition.
The inclusion of Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and cornering ABS ensures safety without compromising performance. Additionally, the bike features a quick-shifter option for clutchless gear changes, ideal for spirited riding or challenging off-road situations.
Sleek Adventure Styling
Honda has redefined the Transalp’s visual appeal with a sleek and aerodynamic design. Available in striking color schemes such as Matte Iridium Grey Metallic and Glacier White Pearl, the bike boasts a commanding presence on and off the road. The slim seat profile and ergonomically positioned handlebars enhance comfort for both the rider and passenger, making it an excellent choice for long-distance touring.
Practicality and Adventure-Ready Accessories
The Transalp features a 19-liter fuel tank, offering an impressive range for extended trips. It also supports a full range of adventure-ready accessories, including aluminum panniers, heated grips, auxiliary lights, and a high windscreen for those seeking to push their limits on distant trails.
